“The Franz Kafka 15-Minute Workout,” an all-day performance as part of the Fluxus-inspired event, Cantos Comunes, curated by Cara Megan Lewis, Alejandro Figueredo Parrea Diaz and Benjamin del Castillo, held at the Blockhouse, Havana, Cuba. Havana Bienal 2019.

For this performance, I lived my life in the house while other events were happening. I made breakfast and coffee, I meditated, I studied and learned the workout developed by JP Muller that Franz Kafka practiced, I showered, and I embroidered the towel (with silk embroidery thread) that I used during the day with two sayings: “Save Your Progress!” and “Motion Is Life,” the latter a quote from Muller’s My System book, and the former a saying that pops up with some computer programs and games.
