Night Telegram/Water Speak, installation of embroidered wool batts with silk and a poem in ten telegrams. Installed at MOSNART, Pullman Chicago, 2009.

These are images of the making of the batts. I was living in Oaxaca, Mexico at the time and brought the batts down in vacuum-shrinking bags. Each batt is approximately 80″ x 80.” The luminous silk thread came from Aurora Silk who specialize in peace silks and traditional, natural dyes.
